In light of what Ben wrote yesterday, I have more to add onto what he said.

As some of you may know, I am not very picky about who I play against online. I would play with provisionals if they sit. I understand I probably take a hit in terms of ratings because of this, but I never went there to play for ratings.

People time out now and then. I usually try to be understanding when my opponent times out. I give warnings before my opponent times out, if I spot it. I also understand, like me, my opponent may have personal matters he must deal with during a game. I time out quite a bit due to external factors during a blitz game myself.

What I ask of each one of you is to be a little bit more respectful. It does not go well with me to hear a comment like "Yes!" right after I time out. I also don't like to look at the timer when I am playing, so a little warning before the time is out would be nice. You want to win because you play a better game, you shouldn't be aiming for a win because of anything else.

This post probably wouldn't go very far, since the most problems I have regarding this is with lower rated players. I imagine not a whole lot of them read this post. I don't want to pick who I play against, but it's getting to the point where I am having second thoughts.
